The tale “Two Little Savages” by the Canadian writer of note and an animal painter Ernest Thompson Seton (1860—1946) is an exciting and informative book about the enigmatic world of animals and birds. The main hero of the tale, a boy Yan, is attracted by the laws and mysteries of the wild nature. Once he happened to have an opportunity to spend summer in the wood together with his friend. The boys pretend to be Indians, live according to their laws and become real pathfinders and hunters. The life close to nature is full of incredible adventures and bestows upon the heroes unforgettable impressions.
The two friends, Yan and Sam, the main heroes of the adventure story “Two Little Savages” by Ernest Thompson Seton, settle in the wood to live there according to the Indian laws. They invent new names for themselves, build a teepee, make a bow and arrows, sew moccasins, and train to hunt wild animals, showing ingenuity, endurance and courage, in addition. The boys are having ahead of them unforgettable, and at times dangerous, adventures as a result of which they will be better acquainted with the world around them and will steel their character. The little savages spent their summer so joyfully, excitingly, with the possibility knowing the world that even grown-ups do not remain indifferent to the boys’ childish trick.

Головного героя твору, хлопчика Яна, ваблять закони й таємниці дикої природи. Якось йому випадає нагода провести літо разом з другом у лісі.
